I’m Tenicia, the founder and tutor at Wandsworth Test With Tee. With over 8 years of teaching experience and 12 years as a tutor, I’m passionate about helping children achieve their best.

I earned my Qualified Teacher Status with an English specialism at UCL, a prestigious Russell Group university, completing placements at Burntwood and Chestnut Grove Schools in Wandsworth. I then taught Key Stage 2 at Rutherford Primary School, where I built a strong foundation in academic teaching.

As my career evolved, I developed a focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality education. I have worked as a Nurture Teacher and SEN Alternative Provision Tutor across Wandsworth and Lambeth. Currently, I teach at a specialist SEN independent school in Merton.

Preparation for the Wandsworth Tests is essential, as the results determine selection and banding, supporting a smooth transition to secondary school. As a mother of two teenagers, I know how critical the transition to secondary school can be. Both of my children took the Wandsworth Tests; the one I tutored secured a selective place at Graveney School. This first-hand experience inspired me to help other families to navigate the process. Now, after a couple of years of one-to-one Wandsworth Test tutoring, I’m now offering small group sessions to support more children in preparing for these important tests.
